Fire Department

The mission of the Dunellen Fire Department is to provide the residents of Dunellen with a highly trained and efficient fire suppression and prevention organization. The Dunellen Fire Department operates in a safe manner to protect the community from the ravages of fire and other hazardous situations within the scope of our resources. 

As Volunteer Firefighters, we are required to perform a wide variety of tasks. These tasks are very diverse and may include the rescue and care of victims; fire prevention; cleanup; hazardous materials containment; and/or community service.

             Please be advised that the Dunellen Fire Department of the Borough of Dunellen, County of Middlesex, NJ, shall conduct a sale of surplus property online.  The address of the auction site is  The surplus property is being sold in an “as-is” condition without express or implied warranties.            

The online auction will be held from December 5, 2016, till January 6, 2017, Borough of Dunellen, and the surplus property being sold is as follows:  1985 Pirsch Engine.
