Welcome to the new, Official, website for the Borough of Dunellen!

Dunellen has much to offer!  From great parks and recreation opportunities, to affordable housing (existing and custom built), superb schools, and a central location to larger employment markets like New York City, Dunellen has something for every family, business owner, and visitor. If you don't already live here, you just need to stop by and see it for yourself.

Dunellen's Vision and Purpose Statement: The Borough of Dunellen exists
to provide small town responsiveness and large city quality services to the citizens, businesses, and visitors of Dunellen.

To that end we announce our intention to provide those services and community oriented problem solving through the maintenance of transparent and open government as we work cooperatively with our neighboring local municipalities, the County of Middlesex, and the State of New Jersey.  We recognize that the people we serve are not interruptions to our daily work but are the reason for our existence.

Our goal is to treat all citizens with utmost equality and respect, provide safe housing and businesses, maintain a quality road system, and provide a professional emergency services team.

This new website contains all the information from the old site, plus many more, easy to use features, such as a Calendar and Q&A's for different departments.

We would appreciate your letting us know how you like the site and we look forward to your suggestions on how to make it better.  For example,  please send us Dunellen related photographs for our slideshow photographs you see above.  They should be 600 pixels wide and 280 pixels high.  Also, we will try to post news events (both community and municipal) as soon as possible, both on their appropriate page and in the Calendar.

Send your comments to: wrobins@dunellen-nj.gov or drop them off at the Municipal Clerk's Office.
